The first street tree on the right side is a Fastigiate Oak. Close by, on both sides of the road, are several Fastigiate Beech. These have the same shaped leaves as the common Oak and Beech, but they grow into a tall, narrow, almost pointed shape, and, not having the usual widely spreading branches, make excellent street trees.
