English Oak
|
Further along are two large English Oaks almost opposite each other, on either side of the road. These trees and others to the left follow the line of an ancient hedge marking the boundary between the manors of Hendon and Finchley. Here you cross into Finchley, to land once owned by the Bishops of London. The Oak on the left is well over 200 years old.
