Grey Alder

This part of Erskine Hill was originally planted with Rowan, however it now has a mixed planting of Cherries, Thorns and
Alders. On the corner of Woodside is a Grey Alder which has catkins, and small oval fruits, like clusters of tiny fir cones. The toothed leaves are deep green.
