False Acacia flowers

Cross Temple Fortune Hill, and continue up Erskine Hill towards North Square.
This road was also planned as a double avenue. The False Acacias, which have white pea-like flowers, feathery leaves and wonderfully textured bark, were planted just outside the front gardens. Over the years the yew hedges have grown around the trunks, which makes it easy to forget that they are original street trees.
