If you are on the Registration page click 'Register Now' from the left hand menu.
If you are on the E-Mail Group page click 'Join the Group' from the left hand menu.
You will see a page displaying the terms & conditions. If you accept these select 'I Accept' at the bottom of the page and click the 'continue' button.
The next page will ask you to enter a user ID and Password. These can be anything you like as long as they only use numeric and alphabetic characters. Spaces or any other characters will cause them to be rejected. You may like to use your own name as the user id. The password must be at least 6 characters. Once you have entered these, click the 'continue' button.
The third and final page will ask for your name, address, telephone number & e-mail address. Enter these and then click the 'submit' button.
That is all the information required to register. The system will then check that your e-mail address is valid by sending you a confirmation e-mail. The e-mail contains instructions for confirming receipt. Basically there is a web link on the e-mail which contains a verification code. You should be able to just click on this link and verification will happen automatically.
Finally, you may receive through the post a letter to confirm your address. This is done as a security check to ensure that the person registering is who they say they are. The letter contains instructions for confirming receipt. This will require you to go to the HGS web site and enter a verification code.
Registration will now be complete. Once your e-mail address has been confirmed you will receive a confirmation e-mail to retain for future reference. You will be able to use this to log on to the registration system and change your e-mail address or un-subscribe from the list.
