* Garden Buddy Scheme - As part of the Society’s Centenary Year celebrations, we initiated a ‘Garden Buddy’ Scheme (pdf). The Buddy (an experienced gardening member) visits those who want to discuss the plans or problems for their garden and develop a plan of action. This might include preparation of beds, choosing suitable plants, general maintenance, etc. Our aim is to celebrate our Society’s Centenary as a community of gardeners, able to learn from one another, grow in expertise and enjoy our gardens. To find a Buddy (or become a Buddy), please contact Sonia Mathias as above.
