Supper Quiz Evening

Coach trip to Anglesey Abbey

Gardeners' Question Time with Jim Buttress VMH

PLANT SALE

The Horticultural Society's acclaimed annual Plant Sale of annuals, perennials and summer bedding plants at very reasonable prices. Also 'grow-your-own' vegetable and herb seedlings - everything you need for the new season in the garden or on the allotment. Entry free.

Entry night for SUMMER FLOWER SHOW

PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRY NIGHT WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 6 JUNE, NOT TUESDAY 5 JUNE AS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED, BECAUSE OF THE QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS. Your chance to enter for the 273rd Horticultural Society Flower Show to be held on Saturday. Bring your entry forms along to Fellowship House in Willifield Way. Children enter free, adults just 20p for each of the classes you enter. Something for everyone - from pot plants to potatoes, from cookery to photography. SUMMER FLOWER SHOW

at Free Church Hall Northway, London NW11 6PB.
All the delicious sights and scents of summer at the Horticultural Society's traditional Summer Flower Show (273rd). Meet your friends over tea and home-made cake in the small hall. The show may be opened and the children's event may be judged by our President Jonathan Ross (to be confirmed).

CHILDREN'S FANCY DRESS COMPETITION AND PARADE & ADULTS' MAD HATS COMPETITION

  • Saturday 9 June at 3:30pm
at Free Church Hall Northway, London NW11 6PB.
Children 0-16 years: Dress up as a flower, fruit or vegetable and come to the Free Church Hall garden on Sat. 9 June to parade at 3.30pm (indoors if wet). To be judged by Jonathan Ross and Jane Goldman if they are available on that date [tbc]). Lots of prizes. Also adults' (17+) Mad Hats Competition - design and wear a hat featuring a flower, fruit or vegetable (to be judged after the fancy dress). SUMMER GARDEN TOUR TO SUFFOLK AND NORFOLK - a three-day excursion to well-known and private gardens

The Horticultural Society's first-ever residential excursion. SUBURB IN BLOOM 2012 BEST GARDEN COMPETITION

In this 'Garden Suburb' there are many large and small gardens of great individuality and beauty. Are you proud of yours? Then enter it into the Horticultural Society's Suburb in Bloom Competition. The winner will be presented with the Millennium Cup and a £25.00 plant voucher. Second and third prizewinners receive vouchers of £15 and £10.00. Entry form on website or phone 020 8458 2690.
