Horticultural Society - OPEN GARDENS in conjunction with the National Gardens Scheme

at Fellowship House.
This year nine of the Suburb's finest gardens and one allotment are opening on one day as a group featured in the National Gardens Scheme yellow 'Gardens to Visit' book, in which garden owners raise funds for nursing, cancer and other worthwhile national charities. Tickets with maps available from Fellowship House and one other venue on the day only. Refreshments at Fellowship House, where two well-known nurseries will be selling a fantastic selection of plants. Plants will also be available in some of the gardens. Full details of price and gardens will be published in Suburb News and on the Horticultural Society website ( nearer the time and can also be found in the 2017 yellow 'Gardens to Visit' book published by the National Gardens Scheme and on the NGS website early next year. Copies of the free 'London Gardens' booklet will also be available to pick up at Fellowship House, the HGS Community Library in the Market Place, etc., once it is published in the Spring 2017.
