Historical Association - The Artist and the King: Charles Sims's representation of King John at Runnymede.
at Fellowship House.
Speaker: Graham Seel (Head of History, St Paul's School, London).
Charles Sims painted a large picture for the Palace of Westminster showing King John signing Magna Carta. And thereby hangs this tale of just how good or bad John was.
