LJCC - ART WEEK Guided Walk: Belsize Park A Nest of Gentle Artists with Rachel Kolsky
at Ivy House .
£15 (pre bookings only)
Creativity abounds in this wonderful new tour with Rachel Kolsky. The 1930s saw a number of influential artists make NW3 their home including Henry Moore, Ben Nicholson, Barbara Hepworth and Piet Mondrian. Nearby are the iconic Isokon flats, home to Agatha Christie during WWII, a home of Karl Marx, historic almshouses and the tour ends at one of London's foremost contemporary art galleries housed in an old Methodist chapel.
Please note that the tickets are non-refundable. Rachel Kolsky is a prize-winning Blue Badge guide, who is passionate about exploring London's heritage. Her walks and talks cover a wide range of themes and areas but always focus on the 'human stories behind the buildings'. Her first book, 'Jewish London', was published in March 2012. Ivy House
