  • Tuesday 30 September 2014 at 11am
at Ivy House .
£15 (pre-bookings only)
Bombing raids on London in fact began during the First World War, ushering in a new, terrifying chapter in military strategy. This walk led by London Blue Badge guide Mark King, follows the swathe of destruction caused by Zeppelin L13 on the night of 8 September 1915, the first air raid on the City of London to claim lives and cause extensive damage. Start at Holborn Tube station, end at Liverpool St station.

Please note that the tickets are non-refundable.

Mark King is a prize-winning London Blue Badge tourist guide. Combining knowledge from working in the City’s professional services sector with a passion for history and his home town, Mark’s walks and tours celebrate both ancient and modern sides of London, including the still unfolding story of its Jewish communities.
