LJCC - Behind The Scenes At Buckingham Palace In The Jubilee Year with Zaki Cooper

Drawing on first-hand experience, Zaki will describe the events of the Diamond Jubilee in 2012 and what it was like to work in the Palace. He will explain what the Royal Household does and also the historic and contemporary links between the monarchy and the Jewish community. Zaki will provide a rare look into the ‘behind the scenes’ of Buckingham Palace. He will be giving a talk with illustrations and there will be ample time for questions at the end.
Zaki Cooper worked in the Buckingham Palace press office from 2009 until 2012 with a special focus on the Diamond Jubilee. A communications professional, he has worked in a range of corporate and public service environments, including a spell in the Chief Rabbi's office from 2004 to 2006. He has a BA in Politics and Parliamentary Studies from Leeds University and an M Phil from Cambridge University.
