Seed potatoes and growing bags will be distributed on 3rd February at Fellowship House from 5.30-7pm and should be planted in the bag on or around 29th March. The first task will be to chit yours. This means placing them somewhere warm and sunny for them to sprout. All the potatoes will be harvested and weighed at the Flower Show on Saturday 16th June. Prizes for the most potatoes grown and for the heaviest potato. Any number of members of a family may enter. Information in the Members' Handbook or from Ruth Beedle ruthbeedle@tiscali.co.uk.
